Formscan  - QUINTUS MAXIMUS (third) had Happy Helen (fourth) a neck behind him at Thirsk on his latest start, which was by far the best effort of his career so far and he could have plenty more to come on his nursery bow of what appears a fair opening mark of 66. Star Of Lazise looks like the main threat after he showed much improved form to score over this trip at Newcastle last time and he could have a say off a 4lb higher mark. Action Plan is another to consider.
