Quotes on Anzadam (FR)
That was a very good performance. Paul gave him a squeeze after the last and he quickened away nicely. There was no sign of him stopping,. He has a good engine and is climbing up the tree nicely. He could be anything. He’s in the Champion Hurdle but maybe we should wait for Aintree. That looks appealing and he’s still only five. The jump he put in at the third last I thought was extraordinary and showed me that we’ll have no trouble going novice chasing with him when we want. We’ll see how far we can go with hurdling and see what his owners would like to do.After Anzadam (FR) finished 1st at Naas on Sun, 26th Jan 2025 1m 7f Hurdle Soft to Heavy

Quotes on Poniros (GB)
He’s by Golden Horn and I think he’s going to make a very good sire. He’s the sort of horse you’re looking for, but I didn’t expect that. We were hoping he’d run well and be a nice horse for next year, so he’s ahead of schedule. We bought him in October, we just schooled him and then gave him a break. We thought we’d better drag him in from the field and get him ready for Cheltenham, so that’s what we did, but I didn’t expect any more than a nice run. We’d a lot of horses in the race and they all came here with the same plan and I couldn’t believe it when I saw him flying through. After Poniros (GB) finished 1st at Cheltenham on Fri, 14th Mar 2025 2m Hurdle Good to Soft

Quotes on The New Lion (GB)
Our mouths probably ran away with us earlier this season, but he just looked so good. Harry gave him an outstanding ride there, so patient. It’s not a coming-of-age ride because he’s been doing it for so long, but what a great ride. And the horse was just phenomenal. I trusted him and going to the last, with the three of them there, I believed he’d win. I always believed he’d win. In my heart, it just feels like it would take a very good one to get past this horse. I think he could be the best we’ve had, but this is uncharted territory for me as a trainer in my own right. When I worked for Paul (Nicholls) we had all those superstars, but I haven’t had a horse who can do things like this one. His simplicity is his greatest asset and he’s so easy. After The New Lion (GB) finished 1st at Cheltenham on Wed, 12th Mar 2025 2m 5f Hurdle Good to Soft

Quotes on Brighterdaysahead (FR)
We knew she had improved from the last day. Whether she was good enough to beat Lossiemouth we weren’t sure. Jack had a plan that if nobody was going to make it, we were going to make it. She’s very, very tough and she stays. It’s great to be involved in these races and to win them is extra special. I was so nervous coming to the last, just thinking ‘I hope she jumps it’. Lossiemouth is a superstar and our one is a superstar as well. We’re lucky to have her. I was happy the whole way but thought going to the second last ‘here comes Lossiemouth now, we’re in trouble’ but I knew Jack seemed to be happy. I was delighted when I saw him switching to the inside and he could let her roll on. Michael and Anita (O’Leary) are here today. In fairness to them they are big supporters of Irish racing and big supporters of Cullentra House. I’m delighted they are here. He hasn’t been racing in a while, since Cheltenham. It’s brilliant he’s here and Anita as well as a few of the kids. After Brighterdaysahead (FR) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Sun, 1st Feb 2026 2m Hurdle Heavy

Quotes on Golden Ace (GB)
I couldn’t even dream that would happen. I’ve just asked someone to thump me because I must be dreaming, it is just bizarre. It’s a tragedy those horses came down and it spoilt the race entirely, we looked booked for second if not third but then State Man came down so it is marred by that, but the gods have favoured us. My owner was not at loggerheads (with me) because he pays the bills, but he was very keen to have a runner in the Champion Hurdle and we thought we could nick a bit of prize-money and we didn’t think we could beat Lossiemouth (in the Mares’ Hurdle) – it’s extraordinary how things work out. She is unbeaten here so she obviously likes the track. It’s interesting Willie tends not to run his mares much before Christmas so maybe that might be the way to go next year. Winning the Champion Hurdle is brilliant for the whole team, it’s amazing. After Golden Ace (GB) finished 1st at Cheltenham on Tue, 11th Mar 2025 2m Hurdle Good to Soft

Quotes on Lossiemouth (FR)
Paul had to go with Anzadam. She stays two and a half miles so he wasn’t going to be doing anything wrong going with him. I’m sure both mares will be back here for the Dublin Racing Festival. There aren’t too many options for those types of horses. Anzadam couldn’t get cover and was jumping so well he took Patrick to the front. I’m wondering should we be making the running with him in future. He has a fair engine and if we can control him, he is probably a Grade One horse. After Lossiemouth (FR) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Mon, 29th Dec 2025 2m Hurdle Good to Yielding
