Formscan By Alan Magee - The well-bred PROXIMA CENTAURI showed useful form last year notably when placed behind Chantez at Leopardstown and again ran over 7f when reappearing at the Curragh last month. The Jessica Harrington-trained filly had Tina’s Charm about a length behind when fifth to Shelbiana in a 21-runner maiden and may now have most to fear from Perfect Base. She beat all bar Shakazia at Fairyhouse and the combination of a mile and meeting some interference proved too much at Naas last time. Suerte was just denied at Dundalk earlier this year but has failed to progress since.
