Formscan  - Panning For Gold has won four of his last five starts and is open to further progression now he steps up in trip, while Battista and Bold Ribb may also do better now they face a sterner test of stamina. Nevertheless, preference is for the proven stayer FOREST DEMON, who can be forgiven his latest start (lost his tongue-tie in the stalls) and a repeat of his Newmarket success two starts ago would give him a big chance.
