Uptaurintop showed improvement on handicap debut when finishing a close third to a subsequent winner at Limerick during Christmas and should compete. Mud-lover Marelly was enterprisingly ridden to score at Gowran and is 7lb higher while Verbal Sparring is himself 7lb ‘north’ following his Down Royal success. Galavanting George debuts in handicaps while Dairy Force and Kelly’s Cosmos each has recent form.
