Formscan - The Hatchet made all on his hurdling bow at Perth in September and merits respect in his follow-up bid. The five-year-old's slick jumping is likely to stand him in good stead, but a 7lb penalty does demand more. With that in mind, it may be worth chancing the returning MAGNA VICTOR, who offered plenty of encouragement on his third-placed jumps debut at Chepstow in January. Point-to-point winners Kent De Thaix and Cavalier Du Luy are others of interest.
