FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Trainer Willie Mullins described AIONE as “that’s a real nice horse” following his bumper win at Punchestown in November and the point-to-point winner can get off the mark on hurdles debut here. A point-to-point winner on debut in May 2017 he was absent, having had training difficulties, until returning from a 919 days break at Punchestown and while the form of his bumper win is as yet worringly unproven, he shaped like a big stayer who should clearly improve for a fence and today's extra half mile. Column Of Fire is himself no slouch and while he has the advantage of previous hurdles experience and is also the 2018 Goffs Landrover Bumper runner-up, he is also a second-season novice who looks vulnerable to smart types. Home By The Lee is a dual bumper winner on good ground but ran a cracker on hurdles debut on soft at Naas recently. She too has solid claims as another proven performer at this type of trip and should get involved today, albeit she too might struggle to beat a smart type. Joshua Webb is another proven performer at this level and at this trip and can also get involved having run a solid race in defeat at Navan recently.
