The Pat Fahy-trained mare beat Makaiah by just over a length with Dumb Love and Bynx further behind and that form was well advertised at Navan last Saturday when Makaiah gained a deserved win by beating Fine Print by two lengths over 1m5f. Black Soul is bidding for an unusual hat-trick having won a point-to-point and a Down Royal maiden hurdle on his latest two starts and also shaped well when beating all bar Say It So on his last Flat outing in a 20-runner 1m6f Navan handicap last October.
