Formscan By Alan Magee - EIGHTY EIGHT benefitted from an enterprising ride by Patrick McGettigan when just holding on to make all over course and distance last month and appeared to find 1m4f too far when narrowly failing to repeat the trick last time, with Autocrat two lengths behind in fifth. Storm Eric gained a third career win on his penultimate start here over a mile but has also gone close on a number of occasions at this trip including finishing strongly when beaten a neck by Signor Ferrari last time. Acheron was placed twice in three outings at around this trip in France and any market move would be significant switching to a handicap on his Irish debut.
