Formscan By Tom Weekes - SPORTING HERO has been running consistently well recently and can follow up two course-and-distance wins in November. Despite being once rated 85 on turf, he failed to win on that surface and while he won just a claimer here in early November, followed up with some consistently useful form subsequently and might benefit from returning to this distance, having run well over five furlongs last time. Mint Man was well beaten by an easy winner in a better race here 12 days ago (Dream Today finished third) and has won just once from 17 runs but is suited by this distance. Jackie Brown is also suited by conditions and should get involved.
