Approaching 2 ½ furlongs out, Utmost Respect (IRE), placed fourth, hung slightly left-handed, causing Quantum Power (IRE), unplaced, to become briefly tightened for room and unbalanced as a result, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Utmost Respect (IRE).
Approximately a furlong out, Temple Of Athena (GB), placed third, shifted slightly left-handed, before being corrected, causing Hanney Girl (GB), placed sixth, to be briefly crowded for room and as result shifted left- handed, moving Clear Force (IRE), placed fifth, slightly left-handed and causing Bye Law (IRE), unplaced, to become briefly short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Temple Of Athena (GB).
The winner, Go Vince Go (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ayr on 06 September 2025, where the gelding finished sixth of nine runners, beaten by 10 ¾ lengths.
Tim Easterby’s explanation that Go Vince Go (IRE) benefitted from a drop back in trip to 5 furlongs from 6 furlongs on this occasion, was noted.
