Bear On The Run justifies strong support to shed maiden tag
Shane said 'I'd go another furlong, but I know you want to come back for the Listed five Legacy (Stakes)'. I will see what happens, but she is a nice filly that one. There was (a lot to like about her first run) and there have been winners (from the race). Shane rode her work for me last Saturday morning and he got down and said 'this will win'. Her sister was that Dun Na Sead and they are quick out of the gate. Legacy or the Ingabelle (over Irish Champions Festival) which is seven around two bends. It would be great to even have a runner or get her placed in it. I'm not saying we would win it or anything. We are growing!
Genesis strikes on his second start for Mulvany
I only have him six or seven weeks and I think he is definitely a sprinter. I'm still learning a bit about him. That's his ideal trip, I'd say, and he likes the fast surface. Hopefully, the handicapper doesn't go mad on him. At the end of the day, on his last run he was entitled to do that - he won his side the last day and he was just on the wrong side in Naas. We haven't really any plans made for him but, as I say, if you don't fire the dice, you don't get them!
Ze Do Asfalto another Dundalk winner for Adrian Murray
I wouldn't think so (a surprise), he had a nice run before here in a maiden. Wayne let him run a similar type race in that he bowled along in front. He is in to be claimed so, if he is claimed, well and good. If not, we will keep going.
Return to Polytrack sees Bishopton gain first success
He seems to like the all-weather. A little bit disappointing maybe on the grass. Paddy (Harnett) said he felt good and well, and got to the line well so we are happy with him. I'd say we will keep him for the winter for a campaign here. He has got a higher mark on the all-weather which suggests he is probably a better horse on the all-weather. We are looking forward to campaigning him during the winter.

We've tried him over all sorts of trips. We tried him over a mile and a-half and he travelled well and didn't get home. In all fairness to Shane, he got him out well there today. We put visors and a tongue-tie on him - with that type of horse, you have to keep trying different things. Thanks be to God it has worked today. Fair play to Breen (White, owner), he's a good supporter of mine. It is great to get a win for him. We will tip away with these type of races and he probably will get a stint up here in the winter series. You wouldn't know where he could end up, he could end up in claimers before the year is out but, if he is, he is. He has done his job.
Ton up for Caffrey as Tribal Star wins 'Red God' at Dundalk
He was riding placed horses and everything, it just wasn't happening for him. I was feeling sorry for him, especially as a young fella who has ridden out his claim, they struggle a little bit starting off. They don't turn into bad riders overnight. Unfortunately, some people do think that. He's a good kid and a very good kid to ride. He gave the horse a smashing ride and I'm delighted for the lads. He is a good horse and he ran some cracking races in England. We were very disappointed in Killarney the last day, I just couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe I brought him back too quickly after the Northumberland Plate. We just gave him a bit of time off. He got a little gallop up here the other day and that was the only thing he got since. He danced on the ground and is definitely a lovely horse. I'd love to jump him over a hurdle at some stage. There's a good pot in Southwell in the Racing League and he'll get into that if we want to go there, I think it is a mile and a-half. he could end up going there. He (Caffrey) rode out his claim very quickly, he was second in the apprentice title two years on the trot. In this game, as we all know, nobody gives you a clap on the back for being second. He has had to work very hard. I had a good chat with him yesterday. Lads start second guessing and it just doesn't happen, you've just got to relax and ride your usual race. Let it happen and it will happen. Look it happens to good footballers, they second guess when they are having a bad ru
