I'm thrilled with him. I might give him another run and finish up until the spring then. . He has a lower mark over fences but we might stick to hurdles for the time being, we can always come back for that lower chase mark. The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.M. King, rider of Cornmarket, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip inappropriately. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays
