Permission was given for Taritino (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood, and for Roland Garros (GB) and Alpine Stroll (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Alpine Stroll (GB), trained by Lemos De Souza had entered the Parade Ring after the signal to mount had been given.
After interviewing the trainer’s two representatives, De Souza was fined £140.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Taritino (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Taylor Fisher, and Jubilee Party (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sean Kirrane.
Lewis Edmunds, the rider of the winner, Letmebetheboss (IRE), was interviewed but found not to be involved in the incident.
The interference was found to be accidental as Taritino (IRE) had lugged left-handed despite the riders best efforts, when racing in restricted room to the inside of Letmebetheboss (IRE), which resulted in Jubilee Party (GB) losing its position when tightened for room on the rail.
