- Stewards Report
Permission was given for Babe Alicious (IRE) to go early to the start; Gustav Graves (GB) and Spanish Angel (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go early to the start; Notre Maison (GB) to be mounted in the chute and to wear a red hood to the start.
The Starter reported Babe Alicious (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Michael Appleby was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Babe Alicious (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the filly would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 1½ furlongs out involving, Scale Force (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Aidan Keeley and Notre Maison (GB), unplaced, ridden by Callum Shepherd.
Keeley was suspended for 4 days as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed towards the rail, under a left-handed drive, resulting in Shepherd having to take a check off heels for several strides.
Inside the final furlong, Babe Alicious (IRE), which dead heated for sixth place, ducked sharply right- handed, for one hit, into the path of Louis Treize (IRE), unplaced, which had to take a check, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Babe Alicious (IRE).
Following the race, Frederick Larson reported that Babe Alicious (IRE), which dead heated for sixth place, was restless in the stalls and Callum Shepherd reported that Notre Maison (GB), unplaced, reared in the stalls and was slowly away.
Time 58.72 secs, which is 0.94 secs faster than the course average on today's going
