Inside the final furlong, Hoodie Hoo (IRE), placed fourth, shifted left-handed as Manila Scouse (GB), unplaced, edged right-handed causing Secret Guest (GB), placed sixth, to be checked in its run, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Hoodie Hoo (IRE).
Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Bright (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling, Oisin Murphy reported that Kiniro (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong and Paul Mulrennan reported that Secret Guest (GB), placed sixth, was also denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
Sean Kirrane reported that Miraculous (IRE), placed fifth, was denied a clear run for some distance inside the final furlong.
