THE EVERY RACE LIVE ON RACING TV HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Rounding the bend leaving the back straight the winner, Lawmans Blis (IRE) was checked for several strides then switched off the heels of the weakening Tracker Issue (IRE), unplaced.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The winner, Lawmans Blis (IRE) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Southwell on the 30 April 2026 where the gelding finished sixth of eleven runners beaten by 16½ lengths.
The explanation given by representative of Joey Ramsden that the gelding was suited by the strong early pace of the race, was noted.
LAWSMANS BLIS (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Lady Buttercup (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed under pressure.
Shay Farmer reported that Prince Hector (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding had lost its left-fore shoe.
