Permission was given for Without Flaw (IRE) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute; for Woohoo (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
The winner, Irish Dancer (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Redcar on 21 April 2025 where the gelding finished seventh of nine runners beaten by 9¾ lengths.
The explanation given by Declan Carroll that the gelding may have stripped fitter for run after its run at Redcar, was noted.
Irish Dancer (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Without Flaw (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run on several occasions from 1 ½ furlongs out.
Harrison Shaw reported that Jamie Bond (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run on several occasions from 1 ½ furlongs out.
Connor Beasley reported that JAMIE’S CHOICE, unplaced, reared as the stalls opened and missed the break as a result.
Andrew Breslin reported that Posh Maisie (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong; the Veterinary Officer reported that the filly had bled from the nose.
