An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3 furlongs out, involving Break Point (GB), placed third, ridden by Darragh Keenan and Sneaky Blinder (FR), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris.
Edward Greatrex the rider of Queensland Boy (IRE), placed fifth, was also interviewed but found not to be involved.
Keenan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he took insufficient steps to prevent his horse from hanging left-handed, resulting in Morris being tightened for room and taking a check.
Following the race, Jack Doughty reported that Alex The Great (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed; George Wood reported that Sophar Sogood (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling; Darragh Keenan reported that Break Point (GB), placed third, hung left-handed; and the Veterinary Officer reported that Sneaky Blinder (FR), unplaced, finished lame on its right-hind.
