An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend, when Pomeriggio (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Dace interfered with Late Claim (FR), placed second, ridden by Marco Ghiani and Blue Siam (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Hart.
Dace was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he angled his mount left-handed into the first bend when insufficiently clear of Late Claim (FR) causing Ghiani to take a significant check, which in turn hampered Blue Siam (IRE) causing that filly to stumble.
Following the race, Paul Mulrennan reported that Staffordshire (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and hung right-handed.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Ice Opera (IRE), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
