Permission was given for Ciotog (IRE), Time Turner (GB) and Latin (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Inside the final furlong, Ciotog (IRE), which dead heated for fourth, edged marginally left-handed despite the rider’s best efforts to correct the gelding, resulting in the rider of an already weakening Petra Grey (GB), unplaced, to have to stop riding for a number of strides.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Ciotog (IRE).
Following the race, James Sullivan reported that Magic Runner (GER), unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately 1 ½ furlongs out and on the run to the line and Matthew Lloyd Slater reported that Pride Of Nepal (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run from approximately one furlong out.
