The winner, Fourtowns (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Warwick on 04 June 2025 where the gelding finished sixth of nine runners, beaten 28½ lengths.
It was noted that Sarah Humphrey could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form, other than a comment that Fourtowns (IRE) was more settled on this occasion and may have benefited from a more patient ride.
Fourtowns (IRE) was routine tested.
