An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start, involving the winner, Tazaman (GB), ridden by Alec Voikhansky, Crowd Quake (GB), placed second, ridden by Kaiya Fraser, Walk The Moon (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Jack Doughty, Forest Haze (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Taryn Langley and Mrs Meader (GB), unplaced, ridden by Harry Burns, which was badly hampered against the rail, losing its position and ground as a result.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Langley was offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
The riders involved were shown the patrol films of the incident and gave evidence, however due to the available footage being inconclusive the stewards were unable to apportion blame to any individual rider and therefore took no further action.
