De Sousa was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he shifted his mount right-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Hatamoto (GB) to be moved off its intended line and its rider to take a check.
Following the race, Sean Levey reported that Sagremor (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed throughout; William Cox reported that Bosom Pals (GB), unplaced, was very slowly away; Luke Morris reported that Telfy Boy (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling and Sean Kirrane reported that Hatamoto (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 1 ½ furlongs out.
