It was brave to come here on his form but Darragh Allen rode him in work last week and said he won't be out of the first three, and he was right. It was a pity he couldn't ride him, as he had done everything with him, but is in Fairyhouse today. Cal gave him a might ride and I'm delighted to get it. The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Kill Vanhowe (FR), ridden by Miss M. O'Sullivan, placed second and Zambezi Moon, ridden by Mr C.J. Shine, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss M. O'Sullivan stated that she maintained her line and felt that there was no gap. Mr C.J. Shine stated that his mount was green and jinked when reacting to a strike and consequently bounced off of Kill Vanhowe (FR). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr C.J. Shine in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays
