After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Mohammed Tabti reported that Moonstone Boy (IRE), placed fifth, was slowly away and he was also unable to ride out fully to the finish line for fourth place, due to being close to the heels of Rosenpur (GER), placed third, and Sean Kirrane reported that Vince L'amour (IRE), placed sixth, was slowly away and never travelling thereafter.
