An enquiry was held to consider interference towards the end of the back straight involving Glorious Kitty (IRE), placed third, ridden by Billy Garritty and Vinatera (GB), unplaced, ridden by Neil Callan.
Garritty was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to move left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of a free-running Vinatera (GB), leaving Callan very awkwardly placed to his inside for a number of strides before he was then forced to take a substantial check to avoid the heels of Glorious Kitty (IRE).
Following the race, Trevor Whelan reported that Lokma (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and ran green.
