The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Royal Entry, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, Lady Lunette, ridden by J. Kearney, placed second, and Sound Of Lightning (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount had ran its race and suffered little interference. J. Kearney stated that his mount slightly rolled to its left but he corrected her immediately. W.J. Lee stated that he kept a relatively straight line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action
W.J. Lee, rider of Royal Entry, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged slightly right late on
W.M. Lordan, rider of Sound Of Lightning (GB), trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little bit tight but there wasn't much in it
