We mapped out today after his run in Naas the last day. The ground was very heavy there and Mark said he didn’t really travel in it, but he galloped the whole way to the line. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Black Bamboo, trained by John Joseph Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Mousey Brown trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin lost a left fore shoe in running and struck into her left fore fetlock.
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 5th May 2024, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons that are EBF eligible and that at entry have run at least three times in steeplechases Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase or steeplechases after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
