Permission was given for Perfect Part (IRE), Gallant (FR) and Sweet Fantastic (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The raceday privilege request for Milford (GB) trained by Julie Camacho to wear a red hood to post was not submitted.
Camacho was warned as to her responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend turning into the home straight involving, Gallant (FR), placed sixth, ridden by Jason Watson and Rajaking (GB), unplaced, ridden by Ray Dawson.
Dale Swift, the rider of Royalty Bay (IRE), placed fifth, was interviewed but found not to be involved in the incident.
The Stewards found the interference to be accidental as when improving into a gap between Royalty Bay (IRE) and Rajaking (GB), Gallant (FR), lugged left-handed despite the rider’s best efforts, resulting in Dawson’s mount being tightened against the rail, causing him to take a check.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Gallant (FR), placed sixth, hung left-handed and Oisin Orr reported that Catalyse (IRE), placed eighth, slipped leaving the stalls.
