An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 2 furlong marker involving Ramazan (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Billy Garritty, Jumby (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Charles Bishop and Popmaster (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
Garritty was suspended for 5 days for improper riding as he angled his horse right-handed for a clear run when not sufficiently clear of Jumby (IRE), when it ought to have been obvious that such a manoeuvre would result in interference, carrying Jumby (IRE) significantly off its intended line, which in turn, caused Popmaster (IRE) to be moved off its intended line.
Approaching the final furlong, Flight Plan (GB), placed fifth, shifted quickly right-handed for one hit, moving Ramazan (IRE), unplaced, slightly off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Flight Plan (GB).
Inside the final furlong, the winner, Tiber Flow (IRE), shifted left-handed carrying Witch Hunter (FR), unplaced, marginally off its intended line, which in turn, gave a slight bump to Sirona (GER), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Tiber Flow (IRE).
