An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Mekbat (FR), unplaced, ridden by Aiden Brookes; Clotherholme (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Egan; Concert Boy (IRE), placed third, ridden David Nolan and Plink (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Hart.
The interference was found to be accidental as Brookes rolled slightly left-handed at the same time as Egan shifted slightly right-handed, causing Nolan and Hart to become short for room.
Following the race, Laura Coughlan reported that Floral Splendour (GB), unplaced, reared as the stalls opened; Jason Hart reported that Plink (GB), unplaced, suffered interference and Aiden Brookes reported that Mekbat (FR), unplaced, was slowly away.
