The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Ms E.L. Herbison, rider of The Friday Man (GB), presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight, which had not been previously declared. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who apologised and explained that she had not anticipated being overweight when presenting for the ride. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed Ms E.L. Herbison to ride The Friday Man (GB) on this occasion but they were satisfied that she was in breach of Rule 198(vii)(a) and having considered her clean record in this regard they fined her €150
