He had a great run here in the three-mile banks race the last day and this has been the plan for a while now, so it's nice. We said we'd change tactics and just bounce him out. He jumps very well, so there was no point in trying to hold him back. He’s done it well.

I thought he'd run a nice race at the festival here and he just disappointed. So did my other horse in the same race and both of them now have won since. I think they were babies in a big field on the day, so we decided to switch things around and ride them more positive today. He travelled very well and Phidelma gave him a very good ride. He jumped really, really well with her and it's nice that he won for the lads, so he gets a little holiday now. I'd like to thank David L'Estrange, who is a part-owner in the horse. The support that he has given me in the last 18 months is incredible and it's given us a huge amount of confidence. I cannot thank David and his family enough.

The step up in trip seemed to suit him. Both his brother (The Butcher Said, won six times for Olly Murphy) and full sister want a trip. It was actually Bubba that rang me one day about him. I rang Peter and Eugene and within minutes they bought him, so it's great that he has won for them. Obviously long-term the plan will be Galway.

She did it well giving weight away all round. She has a lovely pedigree, closely related to Al Boum Photo. I'm hoping now to go over hurdles and possibly get some black type with her before we send her to stud next season.
