An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Blue Lakota (IRE), placed second, ridden by Warren Fentiman and Mesaafi (GB), unplaced, ridden by Paddy Bradley.
Fentiman was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed Blue Lakota (IRE) to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, causing Mesaafi (GB) to become short of room for several strides.
Following the race, Paddy Bradley reported that Mesaafi (GB), unplaced, suffered interference inside the final furlong.
