The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fiery Lucy (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Tropical Island (GB), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L. T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his regard in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended L. T. McAteer for two raceday.
