The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Cuban Princess (GB), ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, Lucia Molly, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed third, and Maker's Mark, ridden by J.J.G
Ryan, placed fourth, where it appeared Maker's Mark had to switch out off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M. W. Hassett stated that his race was run and he was trying to keep straight as he dropped back
Adam Caffrey stated that the horse in front dropped back and he had to switch out off heels. J. J. G. Ryan stated that his mount overexaggerated when the horse on his inside moved out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
