The Starter reported that East End Girl (GB) refused to line up and was withdrawn at 4:00pm.
The winner, Broomfield Gale (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Exeter, on 5 December 2025 where the mare finished seventh of fourteen runners beaten by 26¾ lengths.
The explanation given by Daisy Hitchins that Broomfield Gale (IRE) had appreciated the return to Good ground, was noted.
Following the race, Claire Hitch reported that Jukebox Annie (IRE), which started favourite and was pulled up, was unsuited by the Good going which in her opinion was riding slower than described and that the mare scoped dirty post-race.
