Permission was given for Dicko The Legend (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Digital (IRE) to go early to post.
Muscika (GB), drawn 7, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
Leaving the stalls, Digital (IRE), placed fifth, jumped awkwardly and shifted right-handed, bumping Hectic (GB), placed third, causing its rider to become badly unbalanced for a short distance, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Cargin Bhui (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Callum Rodriguez; Digital (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by James Sullivan; Hectic (GB), placed third, ridden by Billy Garritty; Mumayaz (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hector Crouch; and the winner, Dicko The Legend (IRE), ridden by Jason Watson.
The interference was found to be accidental as Hectic (GB) had lugged slightly right-handed under a hands and heels drive causing Mumayaz (IRE) to become short of room, before a short distance later Cargin Bhui (IRE) appeared to move slightly left- handed away from Dicko The Legend (IRE), whilst being ridden along at all times as that runner swept by, whilst it was also hanging notably left-handed, which resulted in Digital (IRE) being crowded for room and in turn caused Mumayaz (IRE) to be severely checked by Crouch.
Following the race, Billy Loughnane reported that Jungle Land (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed.
