Permission was given for King Of Fury (IRE) and Touchwood (IRE) to go early to post; Perennial (GB) to be mounted in the chute and for How Impressive (IRE) to go early, wear a red hood to post and be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on two occasions in the home straight involving Narmar (IRE), unplaced, ridden by George Wood and Lessay (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Cieren Fallon.
In the first incident just inside the two-furlong marker, Wood was cautioned for careless riding as he switched left- handed when insufficiently clear of Lessay (IRE) taking him off his intended line and causing Fallon to take a slight check.
In the second incident approaching one furlong out, Wood was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he switched left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Fallon to check for several strides.
Approaching one furlong out, Federal Envoy (IRE), unplaced, hung quickly right-handed despite the rider's best efforts, briefly hampering King Of Ithaca (GB), placed fifth.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that King Of Ithaca (GB), placed fifth, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
