An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1½ furlongs out, involving Avarice (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Warren Fentiman and Marinakis (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ryan Kavanagh.
The interference was found to be accidental as Avarice (IRE) moved quickly left-handed away from the whip, resulting in Kavanagh, who was attempting to take a tight gap between Avarice (IRE) and Got Bright (FR) being checked in his run.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Avarice (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Warren Fentiman and Got Bright (FR) unplaced, ridden by Alec Voikhansky.
Zak Wheatley, the rider of Walk The Moon (GB), unplaced, was interviewed and found not to be involved in the incident, but rather was denied a clear run behind Got Bright (FR).
Fentiman was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had again used the whip in his right hand after his mount had already shown a propensity to move left-handed away from the whip, resulting in him carrying Got Bright (FR) off its intended line, before Voikhansky had to take a precautionary check for several strides.
Following the race, Ryan Kavanagh reported that Marinakis (IRE), placed fourth, was denied a clear run approximately 1½ furlongs out and Millie Wonnacott reported that Temur Khan (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
