Permission was given for Neytiri Te Tskaha (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and for Naana's Sparkle (GB) and Do It Now (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Inside the two-furlong marker, Fuji Mountain (IRE), unplaced, hung slightly left-handed at the same time as Do It Now (GB), placed fourth, hung marginally right-handed, resulting in both Desert Champion (IRE), unplaced and Balzarini (GER), placed fifth, bumping and becoming briefly short of room.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Do It Now (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out involving, NAANA’S SPARKLE, placed third, ridden by Kieran O’Neill and Nad Alshiba Green (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson.
O’Neill was cautioned for careless riding as allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Watson to take a slight check and switch off heels.
