Leaving the stalls, Cluedo (IRE), unplaced, jumped sharply right-handed heavily bumping Narasha (IRE), unplaced, and Ticket To Alaska (IRE), placed fourth, who in turn hampered Vetiver (GB), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start involving Ticket To Alaska (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by John Fahy, TRANQUILITY, unplaced, ridden by George Rooke, Jimmy Mark (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Callum Shepherd and Lahaayeb (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Fahy was suspended for 7 days for careless riding as he had moved both directly and inattentively right-handed towards the rail, without pressure from his left-hand side, when insufficiently clear of TRANQUILITY, causing Rooke to take a check and as a result clip a heel and stumble.
Further to this and as a result of Fahy's move towards the rail, Shepherd was forced to take a check and Lahaayeb (IRE) was tightened for room.
Inside the final furlong, Cluedo (IRE) moved sharply left away from the whip before being quickly corrected giving a bump to Vetiver (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Narasha (IRE) ran too freely, George Rooke reported that TRANQUILITY was short of room approximately 1 furlong after the start and clipped a heel and Trevor Whelan reported that Cluedo (IRE) jumped awkwardly.
