The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Adel (GER), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Iamimmaculate, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the starting stalls
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after the start, involving Nermal, ridden by B.M. Coen, Second Line, ridden by K.G. Kennedy and Ella's Gold, ridden by W. Joyce, where it appeared Second Line got tight for room when the starting stalls opened. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
J.A. Powell, rider of Adel (GER), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout and was eased in the closing stages as a consequence
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Emmet Mullins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Vantage Code, placed second, as compared with it's recent form. Emmet Mullins stated that a drop in weights and a change in tactics today may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
