Permission was given for Good Earth (IRE) to go early to post, for Simply Blue (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Maris Angel (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Good Earth (IRE), drawn 3, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
An enquiry was held to consider interference at the end of the back-straight, involving Sovereign Knight (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Jack Doughty and Good Earth (IRE), placed third, ridden by Dylan Hogan.
Doughty was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed, going into the bend, when not sufficiently clear of Good Earth (IRE), resulting in Hogan having to steady when tight for room.
Approximately one furlong out, Lucky Man (IRE), unplaced, shifted quickly left-handed across the running of Treacherous (GB), unplaced, which was checked in its run, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Laura Pearson reported that Simply Blue (GB), placed fourth, ran too free.
