THE GO LOCAL STORES MINSTER STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 2) Permission was given for Diligent Harry (GB) to go early to post, Kind Of Blue (GB) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute, American Affair (GB), Cool Hoof Luke (GB), Crestofdistinction (GB) and Time For Sandals (IRE) to all wear red hoods to post and for Quinault (GER) to be mounted in the chute.
The performance of Cool Hoof Luke (GB), which started third favourite and finished last of thirteen runners, beaten by 26½ lengths, was considered.
It was noted that the representative of Andrew Balding could offer no explanation for the performance of the colt, other than confirming the report from the rider, Oisin Murphy that Cool Hoof Luke (GB) stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer examined the colt post-race and had noting to report.
