An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start, involving KING’S CODE, unplaced, ridden by Jordan Williams; Paradias (GER), placed fourth, ridden by Rossa Ryan; and Plage De Havre (GB), placed third, ridden by Oisin Murphy.
Williams was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he angled his mount left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Paradias (GER), carrying Ryan off his intended line, which caused Murphy to take a precautionary check on Plage De Havre (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Naqeeb (IRE), placed sixth, lost its left-fore shoe.
