He’s a big awkward oul divil, he has legs everywhere and at Down Royal the third-last and second-last were taken out and he missed the fourth-last. It then took him forever to get going. C.P. Millar, rider of Ringdufferin, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
