D.P. McDonogh, rider of Thilos, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump at the first bend
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. Pat Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S. Foley, rider of Yes Oui Si, placed 11th, weighed in 1.6 lbs light. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had his girth checked as always at the start but his filly carried an additional pad to his non slip pad and both seemed to have come off his filly at approximately the two furlong pole. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards disqualified Yes Oui Si, under the provisions of R.231(i) and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.G. Kennedy, rider of Sara Verdier, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got unbalanced and brushed the rail momentarily. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied no further action was warranted.
