Formscan By Gary Carson - PURPLE MOUNTAIN ran well on her return from an absence at Galway and may be able to step forward now. The Beat Hollow mare was making just her second outing in handicap company over hurdles then and there looks scope for further improvement. She won a bumper around here and course form is always a plus. The selection is now 5lb better off with Galway winner Outback Flyer and is fancied to turn the tables with the run under her belt. Galway Hurdle winner Tudor City obviously commands respect. He got a 7lb rise for his hard fought win at Ballybrit though and that makes life a bit tougher now.
